Tell the Vatican to Help End

Anti-Gay Violence in Uganda

The brutal murder of David Kato is just one of the horrors faced by LGBT people and our supporters in Uganda. Unfortunately, despite the fact that Catholics make up nearly half of the country's population, the Vatican and bishops have been nearly silent on the outrages in this country. It is time for them to speak up.

DignityUSA and our partners in Equally Blessed have written to the Vatican's UN Representative, asking him to speak out against the violence. We need religious leaders--especially our own--to say this violence is a perversion of belief and cultural values.
